The first blog I read more than a couple posts on was called The English Teacher's Companion. It initially caught my attention because the blogger was discussing Amy Chua and her new book, "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother." If you are not familiar with this book, or the controversy surrounding it, I suggest you check out this article. After browsing through a couple of posts I think I don't think I will choose to follow this blog (I don't really have a reason for moving on. I suppose I might return if I don't find anything I like better.)
